Research in Biological Sciences
Project: Drug-induced Activation, Inhibition and Rebound of PI3K Towards Wild Type Autophagy in C. elegans. Designed model and experiment using C. elegans to probe PI3K modulation and autophagy rebound after drug treatment.

Angel Wang is a fencer, researcher, and artist at Carlucci American International School in Lisbon. On the piste, she has earned 15 national championship titles across Spain, Portugal, and Germany. In the lab, she holds a European patent, has published glioblastoma research, and earned Top Gold in the 2025 USA Biology Olympiad. Her artwork hangs permanently on campus.
She believes the sharpest minds are forged where disciplines intersect.
